7th ASIA-PACIFIC SOCIAL SCIENCE AND MEDICINE CONFERENCE (APSSAM) - To share new theories, innovative methods, research findings and intervention work related to health resiliency, specifically in the face of emerging diseases, violence, natural disasters and political conflicts experienced in the Asia-Pacific Region in the last decade; - To elucidate on the association between health resiliency and social inequity; - To examine the role of health social science in the development of resiliency in individuals, groups, community, societal and health systems; - To strengthen networks within the region linking social science researchers, health scientists, social and health activists and policy makers in promoting resiliency of individuals, groups, communities, societal and health systems |
